Eyelid Surgery

Excess skin around the eyes can cause problems with vision, a puffy appearance, a tired or fatigued look, bags around the eyes, or droopiness of the eyelids themselves. Cosmetic eyelid surgery is tailored to address these problems. Often times eyelid surgery is combined with other treatments, including laser resurfacing, or facelift surgery with dramatic results.

If you would like to appear refreshed, younger, and less fatigued, eyelid surgery may be an excellent option. Eyelid surgery, also medically known as blepharoplasty, works by surgically removing excess skin and pockets of fat from the eyelids. Please contact our office so we can help you determine which procedure is best for you.

Upper Eyelid Blepharoplasty

For this procedure, the incision is made in the natural skin fold of the upper eye. This procedure removes excess skin improving that tired “saggy” look. This is often the first procedure people need as the signs of aging develop. It does not require general anesthesia.

Lower Eyelid Blepharoplasty

This procedure targets bags under the eyes by removing excess skin and fat. For patients with “bagginess” alone, excess fat can be removed without a visible scar. If skin does need to be removed, the incision is hidden beneath the lash line. General anesthesia is not required, and this procedure is often performed with upper lid surgery. For fine crepe paper like lines of the lower lids, Active FX and Deep FX can be done, often at the same time.

This treatment is for:

Eyelid Puffiness or Sagging skin

Before & After

I highly recommend Dr Fisher if you're looking for a physician. He is an excellent surgeon. My recovery for what I had done was hard and extensive. If you're in need of a septoplasty with functional rhinoplasty and have any desire to have cosmetic changes to your nose be sure to have that addressed. My breathing and quality of sleep is much improved. Overall I am very happy to breathe without difficulty.
